These late fees will continue to accumulate daily until the Book is returned or reported as lost. Late fees will be charged to the payment method on file. 3. Loss, Theft, or Complete Demolition: In the event that the Book is lost, stolen, or completely demolished beyond repair, the Renter agrees to pay a reimbursement fee equal to 1.3 times the original rental price. This amount will be charged to the payment method on file. 4. Damage Penalties: Severe Watermarks, Ink Marks, and Partial Damage: If the Book is returned with significant damages such as severe watermarks, ink stains, or any partial damage that impairs its future usability, the Renter agrees to pay a penalty of 33.3% of the original rental price. The determination of "severe damage" will be made at the sole discretion of TextbookSavvy, Inc. 5. Condition of the Book: The Book must be returned in the same condition as when it was rented, with normal wear and tear expected. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in the application of the damage penalties described in Section 4. 6. Other Terms and Conditions: By clicking “Buy It Now”, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Rental Agreement. The Renter also authorizes the charging of any damage penalties, late fees, and reimbursement for losses from the payment method on file by TextbookSavvy, Inc.
