Description: For sale is a 2012 Honda Accord LX with 129,767 miles It does not run currently (please read below if you want more details). I have owned this car for approximately one year. I bought it in a pinch. I have replaced the starter to OEM, changed the Manual Transmission Fluid, Gear Shift Knob, Steering Wheel, replaced the rear left side lock actuator, replaced all of the brake pads OEM, Gotten an alignment, put on new wiper blades, replaced the sagging ceiling upholstery, replaced the center console, replaced the power steering fluid, and power steering o-ring, changed all four tires to Dunlop SP Sport 7000 A-S. replaced the reverse light switch, replaced the passenger side front wheel hub assembly, passenger side front wheel bearing, crank shaft oil seal on timing chain cover. I am the fourth owner. This car has been in zero accidents. The car fax history is clean. I have a clean title on this car. PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE MAKING OFFER! When I purchased this car the previous owner failed to mention two flaws with this vehicle: The first being a rattle on cold starts due to a faulty spring in the VTC actuator. This over time led to the timing chain being stretched out. Once the car was running the engine ran well. I got involved with fixing this car due to me not being able to afford to hire a mechanic. After replacing the VTC actuator spring I accidentally rotated the crankshaft past top dead center(by hand) potentially damaging the valves. I already have most of the parts required to do this job (OEM Timing chain, timing chain guides, and exhaust cam sprocket). My intent was to replace the timing chain, timing chain guides, exhaust cam sprocket, intake cam sprocket (VTC actuator). I will include all parts except for the replacement cylinder head and vtc actuator (I ran out of funds before I could purchase these parts). One other issue the previous seller didn't mention to me was a vibrating steering wheel at highway speeds. I replaced the tires, balanced the wheels, both of these didn't fix the problem. While I had the engine partially disassembled I went ahead and replaced the wheel hub assembly and wheel bearing on the passenger front side. I don't know if this fixed the vibration because I never got the car running again. As you can see I have made many foolish choices with this car but my point in sharing all of this with you is so you know exactly what you are getting yourself into with this car. I am out of funds. This car has been sitting inoperable for six months now and its time to go. I don't have the time or patience to deal with it anymore. I you are a decent mechanic, it should just take elbow grease to get this car running again in good condition. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. This car has been in no accidents. It ran well despite the actuator rattle and steering wheel vibration at highway speeds. After inspecting underneath the car there is zero signs of frame damage due to whatever caused the steering wheel vibration. Payment- I will only accept cash payments in person. I will hand over title and we will go through title transfer paperwork in person once the transaction is made. You will have to find a way to ship it to your location. It does not run.
