Description: Offered is the antique book "Addresses by Preston S. Arkwright-President of the Georgia Railway & Power Company", published by the title company in 1926. The book, apparently a first edition, contains 37 of these addresses on a variety of topics given from 1912 through 1926 (see photo #5 for contents). Also included is the original presentation gift card that came with the book. This is an uncommon find; at the time of original listing I could only find two others for sale on eBay. The book is approx. 9 3/4" x 7 5/8" and contains 386 pages. Except for some cover issues it is in very good condition. The hard green cover has almost no wear but does have several areas of discoloration, as shown. The gold words on the front and spine are still mostly shiny. There is no cracking inside either the front or back cover. The white endpapers have browned slightly but are otherwise mostly clean. I see no missing or torn pages and all are well-attached to the binding. They have browned slightly but are otherwise generally clean. There is some light wrinkling, mostly at the top of some pages. I see no writing in the book. The presentation gift card is approx. 5" x 4". It is in good condition, with no tears, but has some creasing and other marks and has browned.
