The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 1/4 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/8 inches. The set is made of fine, translucent porcelain. The front of the cup has a scene of chickens feeding. They are expertly hand painted in brilliant colors. You can see the fine details of their feathers. Cute bugs and butterflies are scattered around the saucer and cup. Lacy hand gilding trims the inside rim of the cup and around the edge of the saucer.
