Open the engine cover and hang the detector inside the cover. Disconnect the Pipe: Detach the pipe that needs to be connected to the detector. Connect and Power On: Connect the detector to the DC 12V battery, switch on the power, and the detector will begin to operate. Check for Leaks: After about 30 seconds, the pipe will be filled with smoke. Inspect for any leak points. The round part of the detector can become hot; please handle with care to avoid burns.
