Description: Emeralite 8734 X/1435. Estimated to be from 1929. Unusual Emeralite because it is an X model. IMPORTANT The wiring appears to have been replaced at some point. The lamp does turn on and seems to work well. There are 2 chips in the glass but they are fairly small and minor in my opinion. The chips are on the front, bottom, outer edge of the glass shade. There are two holes that have been cleanly drilled into the base of the lamp. I am uncertain why they were made but it's my guess that they were out there to hold a placard. I have lowered the price upon finding out that the holes were not standard.
