It is said that the squares resemble windows to the garden, with views of the changing seasons through the trees and flowers. These soft colors are made from only natural dyes. Shades of pink, from salmon to ballet slipper and pink lemonade, harmonize with heather gray, ivory, midnight blue, plum, dusty rose, silver, boysenberry and other neutral tones. Trees, flowers, leaves and other geometric patterns are framed by a cream ivory border with a beautiful geometric garland of flowers in many of the rug's colors.
