How it works: K9 Advantix II combines two effective ingredients to kill fleas, ticks and mosquitoes through contact. No biting required. It also repels biting flies and kills lice. Imidacloprid and permethrin attack the fleas, and ticks, nerve cells at different locations, causing them to become paralyzed and die. The insect growth regulator pyriproxyfen has also been added to inhibit development of immature flea stages, effectively breaking the flea life cycle. When combined these three active ingredients kill fleas, ticks and mosquitoes, repel biting flies, kill lice, and effectively breaks the flea life cycle.
