Originally released in 1976, this is a new 2019 edition that is pressed on limited edition green coloured vinyl. If you purchased a snake plant, asparagus fern, peace lily, or what have you from Mother Earth on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles (or bought a Simmons mattress from Sears), you also took home Plantasia, an album recorded especially for plants. Subtitled “warm earth music for plants…and the people that love them,” it was full of bucolic, charming, stoner-friendly, decidedly unscientific tunes enacted on the new-fangled device called the Moog. Plants date back to the dawn of time, but apparently, they loved the Moog, never mind that the synthesizer had been on the market for just a few years. Most of all, the plants loved the ditties made by composer Mort Garson and they still do til this day. It includes a digital download on real seed-paper card. Also includes the original Mother Earth's indoor plant care booklet. An excellent addition to any Mort Garson collection. Photos are of the actual item.Grading is by visual inspection only. I never rate anything as mint, that is just the way I look at things as there might be a slight imperfection I cannot see. Near mint is the highest I grade. I do my best to package everything as best I can. Unfortunately small things may happen in shipping like minor bumps to the sleeve or seam splits. Inner sleeve seam splits are not considered defective unfortunately. That is not covered by any insurance through the shipping company. If you would like the record taken out of the sleeve, please let me know and I will ship it that way for you. If on the rare time the item arrives broken, that is covered. Please send pictures if that has happened. Item is located in Canada. Please be aware of your country's import customs fees. Unfortunately, I cannot put down any price on the customs forms except the sold price. I am not responsible for any customs fees, if any are charged.
