Description: NOS NISI CERCHI MONCALIERI, 700C RIM SET, TUBULAR WITH DOUBLE EYELET, 36 HOLE, X 2 (1 PAIR ) 20MM RIM WIDTH. For 700C Tubular Tires. New Old Stock. Never laced. I kept them stored indoors in the box that they were shipped in to me. These rims have 2 layers that form the Rim...The inner layer is where you see spokes when it is built into a wheel. The outer layer has all those grooves machined into it so that the glue will hold a Tubular Tire on the Rim. You also can see that somebody has drilled into the outer rim to lighten it. This was common about 30-40 years ago, but it does not affect the strength/integrity of the Rim ! These Rims have a ( high shine ) ! Somebody spent much time to polish these Rims & they are going to make ( a beautiful Set of Vintage wheels ) !!! They have been Stored properly indoors for decades.
