For your consideration is a classic pair of Plain Toe Boots in supple Kudu Suede, from the illustrious shoemaker Rancourt & Co. Crafted from hide of the Greater Kudu, a large African Antelope, Kudu Leather is quite unique. Utilized to craft footwear for thousands of years, this leather came to be known for its strength, durability, and incredible softness. The buttery-soft texture of the suede alone has led leather connoisseurs to go as far as to deem it: "The Cashmere of Suede." Kudu Leather's reputation was further enhanced by each hide's unique scars and cuts, resulting from the Antelope's encounter with predators, and grazing the thick brush of Africa. Given that none are raised in captivity, these battle scars evince the true lived experience of this graceful creature.
