Description: This is an original U.S. M1 Airborne Helmet Liner! WW2 RIGGER! Made from laminated cotton duck, the liner featured khaki hbt webbing that could be adjusted to hold the liner at the right height on the wearer's head, neck strap and adjustable neck band that was designed to prevent the helmet from pitching forward, leather lined headband that could be adjusted to the wearer's head size, leather chin strap and front insignia eyelet. MANUFACTURED BY WESTINGHOUSE!Liner is in rough shape but has its original suspension. Suspention has tears, stains and soiling from use and prolonged storage (see pictures). Liner has its rigger installed A yokes but is missing nape strap, leather chin strap and headband. PERFECT FOR REPAIR OR REFURBISHMENT! SOLD AS IS!
