The leather spines are delicate but are mostly intact, with most volumes having wear at the top and bottom of spines. Some volumes do have a peeling spine. These need gentle handling of the leather as it will flake and leave residue. However, these all are remarkably strongly bound, and very flat inside and out. The marbled paper on the covers and especially end papers is in fantastic condition. The deckle edges are dusty, but in good condition. I believe this is the complete set of 24. Inside, the printer, The Nottingham Society, prints "Edition De Luxe, Limited to One Thousand Sets Printed for Subscriber Only." The date is not printed inside.
