Description: Clean Asahi Optical Co. Super Multi Coated Takumar 28mm f/3.5 wide angle lens in M42 screwmount. The glass is clear with no fungus or haze. I don't see any scratches on the outer elements. The focusing barrel turns smoothly. The aperture ring turns smoothly and the lens stops down correctly. The filter threads are a little damaged and I can't get a filter to thread on to it. Also the outer barrel that comprises the filter mount ring is a little loose. This is one of the finest lenses that Asahi/Pentax ever made. Very sharp with great color rendition. Designed for Japanese landscape photographers
