This was meant to be a salesman sample, a show piece for salesmen of stoves/cooking ranges, demonstrating how their products look and work. It would've been used to heat up a small portion of beans or the like, and if the oven actually works, bake a little muffin. I have not tested it, though, and I have no idea if it could actually still work. There is a slot for a small light bulb in the hood just above the single stove burner.
