Vintage or Antique Silverplate Pickle Castor Set Clear Insert with Tongs

Description: Vintage or Antique Silverplate Pickle Castor Set Frame, insert, lid, tongs. Measures: 12 1/2" tall and 5 1/4" wide Insert measures: Top lip, outside lip to outside lip 2 7/8" wide. Bottom: 3". Glass is thick and heavy.Tongs: 6 1/4" Frame marked Wilcox Silverplate Quadruple Plate I think this is more antique then vintage. The frame has the old silver marks as you can see in the images and the insert has a slight green glow to its clear glass under a black light. The frame sits nice on a flat surface. It has some pieces missing as you can see in the images. The other details on the frame are secure including the handle. You could polish this or leave it like it is. There is some plate loss as is expected with the age of this piece. The insert looks as though it has some hair lines in the mold on the bottom. I have pointed them out in an image. Otherwise, no chips, no cracks. The lid is a bit out of round but still fits nicely on the insert. I have numerous pickle castor sets listed.
