Description: WWII era Blackout Kit made by The Vernon Company, Newton Iowa. Seems to be aimed toward adults as well as older children. Contains four original rolls of "Printed" designs in the glow-in-the-dark material. along with a booklet showing examples of various uses for the material provided in smaller rolls, which has mostly been used. The booklet is in excellent condition. Box is a little sunken on the top, has one separated corner on the lid. Also looks like an attached round sample of the glowing material has been removed from the top of the box (Below where is says "LOOK". Measures 15.5 X 9.5 X 2". From the estate and personal collection of Dian Zillner, author of numerous books on Dolls, Doll accessories, and Doll Houses. Many of the listed items have been used as illustrations in her books.
