No visible wear on what would seem to be a simple button up shirt until it’s buttoned up and it starts to move. The back is balloon, cut in two vertical pieces – actually, the shirt is a total of three vertical pieces, very unusual. There are no shoulder seams. There’s front buttons, curved center front finish, a very wide yoke with the collar, and then the back bottom piece. The hem is straight and short in front then radically dips at the sides for a longer fuller back. The ‘sleeves' are a wide extension of the shirt, made so that the top half is the yoke piece and bottom half is either the front or back bottom piece and end in 4” cuffs that turn up when buttoned. The front pinches in at the proximate waist just enough to change the shirt shape. Rayon Tencel blend. 42” around where the waist pinches in, 46” around the hem. The frton is 20” long and the back is 25” long. It’s 48” from cuff to cuff across the shoulders and the cuff opening buttoned can withstand 12” around the arm. The sewing form measures 38-30-39, FYI.
